I made a 'things to do list for my LX450' and top on the order was fix the faded hood and the bumper. The hood is dull and faded, the rest of the paint is fine. Another problem with the hood is a deep scratch line from the previous owner's bug sheild he installed. The front bumper needs a new coat of paint as well.
I don't really know how much to expect to pay or where to take my rig too. Any suggestions on shops would be much appreciated.

Thanks,
Sadiq

Another thing I'm in Lawrence for the week but I can make the trip down to anywhere in the greater Kansas City area.

Goodtimes Carstar in Parkville, MO is the only one I have any experience with in the KC area. A little slow, but seems to be quality work. 816-471-4727 ask for Mark Lair.

I will call him first thing on Monday morning! Thanks.

More suggestions are welcomed.

You'll find with this group that we do a lot of stuff ourselves. Paint is usually the first thing to get marred when you are wheeling, so there isn't much sense in getting a professional job done. Also, we are cheap bastads.

I'm sure there's a body shop in Lawrence that can handle your job.

Sadiq, My wifes plastic bumper on here escort cost $458.00 to repair a crack and repaint after a gal bumped into her.
