Need help with 100 purchase

I'm looking to buy a 100 series and have (potentially) found one.

It has this switch. What is this? According to Slee's newbie guide, lockers are not an option. Is this that vtrac, or whatever?

Is this worth having?

Center diff lock. They all have one, even the newer (01+) with electronic traction control.

What year is it? Front and rear lockers were only an option in earlier 100's.

Only a rear locker was an option, and only for '98 & '99 Model years..

CDL can only be engaged in 4wd low in earlier 100's (unless you cut the appropriate wires), while it can be engaged in any mode (hi or low) in the stock configuration in later models. Not sure where the break is other than for '03, the CDL can be engaged in high w/ no mods.

If in good shape, low miles, service history (would be nice) and you like it. Then go for it. I did piut in another $1.5k in pm after purchase. Just love it now.

Interesting, I too thought that the 4H w/ CDL option came in 2000 w/ TRAC. Are you the original owner? Maybe the previous owner did this mod?

I just mentioned it since it seems some guys on the board have to do the infamous "pin 7" mod to enable locking the CDL in high.
