Need Help - Windshield Wipers On all The Time

Here we go with a ghost in the machine. Started the '85 FJ60 and the windshield wipers came on. Played with the wiper switch and no joy. The wipers are going to operate so long as the engine is running.

Probably the switch but I'd appreciate any feedback on this issue. Also would like a link to that gent on this forum who sells parts for the obsolete junk like I drive.

Well, it was a ghost in the machine. I ran the wiper switch thru several cycles and it started working normally.

Go figure.

I'm going to delete this thread (if I can).
