need help on wheel and mud terrains

Hello guys im finally doing a soa on my 83 fj60 this weekend but need some help on what size wheels i can use i was thinking of 15x12's or 15x10's with 37x13" mud terrains or super swamper i like to have some good articulation but i do mud bogging to if i have to ill go 35's or 36's but i just dont know i have old man emu 2"or 3" leaf springs on now and thats what im going with for my soa Anybody have any suggestions? thanks. ps i like the look on this fj60 any info on these tires and wheels please post. thanks again

Who's rig is that? I'm assuming they are in Texas with the JK Customs bumper (Austin maybe?) It's flippin sweet! Ok, chat/hijack over

Back to the tech content, i would think you would be fine with the 15x12 or 15x10s. Use the search function where i believe this has been covered many times

a 37" tire is a great size; don't go smaller than 35" or it will look like a rollar skate wheel. If going with a 37" spring for a 16" wheel. If going for a 35", a 15" wheel is fine. On the width issue, use the 3/2 rule. Example: If you want to run a 12.50 wide tire, you would want to run an 8" or 8.5" wide wheel.

Those look like 36X13.50X15 IROK's on 15X10 wheels, but its hard to say for sure from the picture.

hey thanks guys im going with 37"s or 38"s but still thinking on the wheels l like the way this guys fj wheels and tires combo looks above but wish i knew what they are i know the tires are super swampers iroks but need wheels specs. thanks
