I currently own a 1994 Land Cruiser with 220,000 miles on it. It runs like a top. Just added the ARB Bull BAr on front and four new BF Goodrich off road tires. Looks great. However, I am considering getting a slight lift to add a little better look or even just a Level on the front to move the front up some. I read in here somewhere that it could just be my shocks or springs are old. Im really not sure what is best to do. It does ride pretty hard over bad roads here in Mississippi. I would appreciate any thoughts, advice or recommendations. Also thinking of adding a roof rack but thats next in the plan. May not be able to get the LC in my garage with the rack being too tall.

There are tons of ideas and opinions all over this site on options for an 80 when it comes to what you are trying to do. There's no single answer, as there are so many variables. Your best bet is to spend some time searching and reading through threads. There are a ton of helpful members on this site, but I'm pretty sure they get tired of answering the same question over and over.

Good luck.

I really like old man emu (ome) i have a 2" lift kit in my 80 and i find them to be pretty good all round, half decent flex but they are good with heavy loads aswell if you get the right springs for your rig and pretty comfy aswell.
