So I am wanting to get lifted before GSMTR. I have begun researching for lifts, Im just looking for a little info from the any of you Upstate FJC owners on what lift they went with and why, and if they could of done anything different.

Price wise looking to not get too much past $1500. I still have not talked with the :princess: about getting the lift so less is more, but I don't want to skimp and regret later on. I see that OME is usually the choice for "bang for your buck" But I've been eye-ing some of those adjustable coilovers and am starting to lean that way. Although OME is not ruled out yet.

I probably will stick with 33's for tires as it will regrettably see more pavement than dirt (but after the lift I plan on getting offroad as often as work will let me) so mileage will have to be minded. But will opt for the BFG M/Ts as I had them on my last truck and miss the feel of them.

I plan on doing countless searching on the forums for information, but would love to get some UC opinions.

Thanks

Go for a combo of ICON adjustable coilovers for the front and OME medium springs/shocks for the rear. With a little help you can install the whole thing in about 4 hours. There is some really good pricing going on with ICONs or Sway-Aways at Metal Tech and you can order OME just about anywhere locally that does 4x4 work.

Alright after some research and debating here is what I have come up with. Already have :princess: approval.

Front
Icon Adj Coil-Overs (Extended Travel)
Light Racing UCAs
Front Diff Drop Kit
Front Swaybar relocate kit

Rear
OME 895 (medium) Coils
OME Rear Shocks (60004)

From what I have read this seems to be a set-up that will work well for me. I used to have a similar lift on my 03 Taco (Donahoe C/Os with Camburg UCAs in the front and deaver + bilstien 5100s rear) and it suited me just fine.

Let me know if I am missing anything. :hillbilly:

Finally got it all in! It's hard for me not to get out there and start wrenching.
