As the title states, this was pulled from a slightly burned 62. The vehicle was running prior to catching fire, and the fire was not that bad. All of the plastic and rubber bits survived but are crispy and no good anymore. Anything plastic or rubber will need to be replaced, but everything metal is in my opinion still fine and not negatively impacted. Nonetheless this should be considered a very good core, or if you like to like to live life on the edge, slap some gaskets in it and roll ( this is what I would do if I needed one of these). I don’t have compression numbers because I don’t have a good starter to turn it over. Turning it by hand it feels like it has better compression than the only 2 running 3FEs I had to compare it to.
$750 picked up at 27344.

The trans has been transplanted to another 62. I still have the t case and I’m 99% sure that I don’t need it, but I’m waiting to complete my project before I list it.

If the Tcase is for sale then I might buy it and the engine. I’ll take a rebuildable trans also if available.

I’ll send you a pm. I actually have the t case out of the 62 I put this trans in, and it’s attached to a rebuildable trans.
