First i would like to thank this board for the great pics and stories that convinced me to take the Land Cruiser plunge. 1 day owner here....will get some pics up later.

One thing i noticed driving home at night was the reflection in my drivers side mirror of the navigation system and instrumentation panel. Has anyone noticed this and any tips to decrease it....

Thx all.

I never noticed it on mine. Maybe try timming the instrument panel light. Good Luck.

Set it to auto dim for night time which occurs as soon as the auto lights turn on. When the dial on the left (which adjusts instrument brightness) clicks it will do this. Welcome and look forward to seeing pictures.

I use to have the same problem - even if you dim the lights you will still see the reflection. I actually over road mine to play dvd's while the car is driving so I disconnected the dim function. All I can tell you what worked for me is I go one of the small blind spot mirrors and added it to the OEM mirror. This allowed me to move the side mirror out a little bit more to not be in light of dash/cluster.
