I'm starting a thread of this for Nashville, perhaps there are some for other cities.
Views on Powdercoat, Chrome, Sandblasting, Sodablasting Vendors here in Middle TN.

Seem to the be big boys around here. Appear to have very high quality, very large facility, but with that, very high prices.
The gentleman that assisted me today was very nice, knowledgeable and helpful. However, his quote,
. I asked for 5 pieces to be blasted and powdercoated black, no extra metal work to make it perfect. It was a FJ40 radiator frame, a fan shroud, the two radiator support rods, the metal mesh front grill. He quoted me $370 for the work, $408 with tax. And 4-6 weeks for the results.
These guys seem to do top quality work, at a high price.

Brett was very helpful. Smaller operation, no written quote given. Much less "Pro" setup, but much less overhead. Brett looked at my items above, and I added in skid plate to the order (again, media blast and powder coat), and he gave me a verbal quote of $200-ish, by the end of the week. This felt "more" reasonable, but still probably high (based on my first order and a very small batch, may not be a good indicator).
If you just need powdercoating or media blasting, this appears to be a good choice as well.
As I discover more vendors, I'll add them. If you know of any in Nashville, please add your own.
I would suggest doing this for all types of vendors around the country. This particular type seems hard to get reviews on, so I'm making my own "Angie's List".
