I have a good one for you. this is a vehicle that my cousin built up in Montana. it sits on 37's. any guesses as to what it started life as? it now has full home made body, firewall, etc.:D

all i can say is WOW...:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

is that bigfoot in the tree line?

Not too many clues, Shawn.
Let's see...the only thing that could be original is the frame - heavy duty, straight, with leaf springs. Relatively short wheelbase. Reversed shackles in the front.
The axles are probably original - full floater in the rear, 8 lug all suggesting a 3/4 or one ton vehicle.
The V6 could have come from anything.
Home made roll bar - sorry- that smallish square tubing is inadequate. No seat belts - your cousin is not too safety conscious. I like the rear facing seats. High lift jack for recovery. Looks like the woman is ready for some serious bushwacking with the leather chaps. Is that lunch warming on the engine?
Gotta be a gun rack somewhere - maybe the dash box?

good job Juane! it's a Ford F250. the frame is shortened. IIRC it is a V8. looks like another plug wire hidden up top of the engine in the shadows. it's only used for ranch work. maybe hunting as well. I'm sure they can mount guns somewhere too Juane. maybe a mount slides in those top brackets on the roll bar. while I was there they took it fishing only. this is the second or third one he's made just like it.
their ranch, where we were and this pic was taken, is about 10 miles from the bear attacks just outside Yellowstone last summer.
I just thought it was a crazy and kinda cool vehicle.:D

...

looks like it doesn't it. that's my dad standing in the back and my cousin's wife in the front. I'll ask my dad if it is lunch.
I liked the step to get in on the side there. I thought the roll bars weren't much protection either, like Juane said. but out on the ranch, you'd cringe at a lot of what you'd see.
