SOLD! Seller's remorse happening as I type.
Looking for a GX470 in BLACK!!! Clean title only. With a newborn baby now, I want something with more modern safety features. The FJ62 is a tank but there are no airbags/side impact cage/ABS...I know, I sound like a P***y...but that is what fatherhood does.
Will pm pics but it is my avatar. Some minor rust on body that I tended to (sanded, applied rust guard, and then OEM Toyota paint that surprisingly matches well). Located in SF.
216k miles. Clean title in hand. Engine got a clean bill of health from Georg at Valley Hybrids
Custom Rear Bumper (Spare + Ladder +hi Jack)
New OEM Spark plugs, New OEM Distrib cap, New Spark wires, New OEM Rotor.
Fresh Oil Change
3" OME Lift
33's with plenty of tread left
New Double Din Radio with back up camera (I live in the city!)
Roof Rack (forgot the brand)
New front sway bar links
Recently serviced thoroughly by Georg at Valley Hybrids. Services done:
1) Front axle knuckle rebuild including front differential oil change. new brake rotors and pads the grand total would come to $1100. That would include new wheelbearings, spindle lock kits and caliper brake hardlines as well.
2) Replacing the side cover would cost $300. (there is still a slight leak).
3) transmission service including a new gasket cleaning the filter and new transmission fluid will cost $70.
4) install customer supplied rear bumper $400 for the install.
5) The horn repair costs $100 since it's the worn out brass pin we discussed which requires the removal of the steering wheel.
6) rear differential fluid change and transfer case oil change would be $40 each. At that point we would have changed pretty much all the fluids in the vehicle. I would also advise we change the drain plugs in the axles and transfer case which will add under $30 total. Toyota has updated the drain plugs to a new design that's trouble free. I'd suggest replacing them. the rear differential was very low so I want to figure out why but I'm pretty sure it's because of the leaking axle seal. It didn't look like the fill plug had been taken off in quite a while to check the level.
7) The power steering leak looks to be from the return hose. If that proves to be the case then it'll cost $100 to fix.
8) oil cooler bypass hose $100 including new OEM coolant.
9) both sides rear axle seals, clean up brakes and service diff $300 at that point we would need to measure the brake drums to see if they're within spec. If they can't be re-used then the price goes up by $160.
10) good used window regulator $100
11) fix transmission shifter bushings $50.
12) washer bottle lid $10
13) New power telescoping radio ant. fully functional
I do have a snorkel, but not installed yet.
Talk to me!!!!
