my overhead radio+CB

I made this the other day, I went out and bought a Kenwood headunit, and I bought some brandnew speakers for $20 from a guy on pensacolafishingforum, and I put my old Johnson CB and PA speakers back in, and some switches for futer mods, what do yall think?

I made it out of marine leather, and had a little bit left so I tried to make the Toyota TEQ sign.....

That is awesome. I love it. I too have been wanting to put in my CB and stereo but don't know how. How does it sound? How would it work out if you took the top off?

to my suprise its sounds really good, and those are not top of the line speakers and they sound great, I love the kenwood, its extremely nice, I have a Kenwood in my 80 series with a 7 inch TV screen, im very impressed with the quality in their products

as far as taking the top off....I never really thought it through that far I have no idea what I will do, anyone got any ideas?

Rip out that cheesy stock radio and cut the dash! :flipoff2:

Like the Kenwood stereo... got the same one. Great for playing mp3's off a thumbdrive - or ipod.

gravity and the two interior "rain gutters" you just put the console on top of them and slide it in and its not going anywhere, makes for an easy removal as well
 
Can you take some pics from directly underneath? Maybe some measurements? Looks just like what I want to do. Nice job.
