Have you taken it off road with your new tires and lift?

When you put those 33's on, did you have to trim anything? What is the lift of the tires?

Thanks :grinpimp:

How does it attach to the rear door? Are there mounts from the factory?

its actually two brackets, one for the upper door and one for the lower door . no drilling !!! and the ladder and rack are rock solid.

What does the floor of the rack look like? From your pics I can't tell how it is laid out. Is it crossbars only or is there other parts like mesh, etc.? It looks really good by the way.

Did you have to space the spare tire out to mount your ladder? Can't tell, but appears the ladder is NOT the one that wraps around the spare tire, but the other one. How much room did you have?

For you who want rack info (including installation instructions) its all at www.gobitoyota.com. Install instructions are also there in pdf format.

Wow, that looks great! I think I'm going to need one of those ladders. What did it run shipped?

Ya Paul, How much did that ladder run shipped?...:D

believe it or not i got into the conversation with the lady at gobi when she was taking my order for the rack she said do you want the ladder? i said yeah but the rack is so expensive i'll have to wait she said well if you wait you will have to pay another $150.00- $200.00 for shipping i said yeah that sucks if the rack wasn't so expensive i would get the ladder , she said i will throw the ladder in if you pimp our product i said deall!!! so the ladder cost me nada!

and the ladder does fit behind the tire they made the cross bars on the lower ladder steps curve in behind the tire , i was worried with the bigger tires but no problem.

the top of the rack has cross bars with full metal mesh top very usable and like i said i weigh 205 and i walked around on top of the rack no problems!!!! its also prewired for lights at all four corners of the rack.

Did you lift your Fj? and what kind of tires are those?

see my signature!

I been thinking about lifting mine but still debating on this, I thought maybe I just go with out the lift, and just get aggresive tires, Dynapro MT you have on I have taken a liking to them I 'm thinking also the Geolander MT looks nice too.

yeah i really like my lift and tires got mine lifted day after i bought it about 3 months ago now, it was cheap about $600.00
i know its not the best but at the time i wanted a lift and i knew a lot of companies would be coming out with lots of different products , i like the lift , but will probably replace all suspenion parts when their are more proven options . the tires by the way are not as loud as i thought they would be, had apair of big o xt's once now they were loud!

If the lift does the job and you're happy with it then I'd say cool!
