I live in the city 80' from the river. I hopped out of the shower to hear my Newfoundland having a FIT outside this morning. He normally barks when he is done with his business but this morning he was on the prowl and wanted to play! Any way I threw on some clothes and went out to see what was up. My wife met me out there. Here is what I found. Nevermind the ugly guy in the sweatshirt....

Beautiful sunrise isn't it?

Why do you have a picture of Drew Carey holding some vermin?

I have not seen one ever around my house. We have been there 8 years this week.

Dog should be proud.....That thing is a man eater.

Heh, no match for a newf, mine used to crush big cow bones with it's teeth. That thing could bite all day and never get through the fur of a newf.

Dog is 145lbs and can jump the 8' fence behind be. I'm afraid of what he could really bring home if he tried. He really just wanted to play. I've been thinking of getting him a tiger...

When I bought my newf the mom had just dragged in a deer for her pups. She couldn't get it into the shed, but she was well on her way to dismantling it.

My god. What kind of horrible creature is attached to that rat?:flipoff2:

my uncle had a husky and lived pretty far out in the country. He never fenced in the dog and let it wander, none of the neighbors had an issue. After it turned about 2, every morning there would be something dead on the front porch. Sometimes it was a squirrel, sometimes a bird, a few possums, ect... Well, one day it had a dead pig laying on the porch. It ended up dragging up a pig every so often.

That was over 10 years ago and we still have no idea where she was getting these pigs at. There were no pig farms anywhere near the house.

Pretty interesting to wake up and have a dead pig laying on your front porch and the dog had a big smile on it's face.

I worked on a pig farm, sometimes they would die and couldn't be used for meat. We'd put them by the road for pickup. I covered them so people wouldn't freak.

i had a mastif/boxer cross, it would do that. i told him after the second skunk was left on the porch i'd kill him if he did it again.

i guess he understood me, he never brought another thing to the house.

wild pigs are everywhere. we have raised and fed a lot of "dumped" dogs over the years, one use to go out and fight hogs or coyote, he'd come home long enough to heal up and he'd take off again.
