I aquired a Converto trailer last April.

Made a few modifications

And took it for a ride

Future mods include a removable rack, the trailer has stake pockets, and keeping my eye out for a good deal on a RTT.

Nice, I like what you did with it. I have a '47-'49 Converto just like that. (with the data tag) There isn't a ton of info out there about them. I put 31x10.5s on it , spring over lift and some sides as well as rewired it and paint. Planning on taking mine on its first real trip next week. The nice thing about it is that it has 6 lug hubs stock that match my Toyotas!

My before and after. Nice solid trailer. (sorry, not trying to hijack, just excited to find another owner!)

Nice job...but I don't believe it's a Converto

Looks like a 1949 Willy's Jeep trailer

See post #9

Looks good with the H3

I does look identical to the Willys trailer but mine has a brass tag " Converto Mfg. Co." riveted on the front of the frame. With the model & serial no.

Alstaz is right. There is not much info out there for this model of Converto trailer.
Plenty of info on their dumping trailers though.
