Holy crap, why have you got to make things hard for me right before I right a check in 1 week for a new Tacoma.

This is an awesome deal and I have no doubt you will sell this beautiful pig quickly. Hate that you have to let it go, wish it had the 2F and 4 speed and I think I would definately buy it. Not sure how the F motor and 3 speed would be as a DD.

Good luck, nice pig!

Jeremy

Thanks for the props Jeremy. Wouldn't use it as a DD, but it is a heck of a play truck. All the hard work has been done (at my considerable expense). Someone with fresh energy and money could buy this piggy with an almost perfect body, and drive it until they feel like upgrading the drivetrain. But all is solid and works well now. I'm just out of gas...and I want an FJ Cruiser. Thanks for the note, man. Good luck with the Taco deal.

I'm in Shadowmoss. Where are you? I'd like to come take a look at least.
Does it have A/C?
Power steering?
Any known issues that need attention to the body or mechanical?

BBQ Boy, posted explanation on classifieds thread. Sent you a PM. Call me. Thanks, Stu

BBQ boy just buy a 100 series.

Helped stu on this truck and it is nice and simple.

Well I just had a deal fall through on a 100. A guy who has a nice 100 wanted my 40 in a trade plus just a little bit of cash but that fell through.

Thanks Stu. I will take you up on that when time free's up.

Get the pig...your 40 is lonely sitting at the house by itself never being wheeled or driven. Might as well have two sitting their unused... :steer::princess:

Thanks for the word guys. Think I have it sold. Guy coming from VA on Friday. Where do I look on here for FJC's for sale?

where were you when i sold mine? :(

You want new or used....stock or slightly built/heavily built

2007 had weak pinion gears....and could only use Atrac or Locker...not both at same time

2008 fixed gears and ATrac-Locker and windshields breaking so often other than just being flat windscreen like jeeps

2010 changed motor...moved oil filter...reinforced front fender welds...changed geometry on IFS requiring rework of suspension lifts, skids, bumpers, etc.

I would look for 2008-2009 before they messed with motor and IFS....let me know if you have any questions about the FJC.

Plus you got ProInv and Maglight on here as well with their 2007 models to chime in.

I would look for one some chick drove and wants to sell because of gas mileage....that has just been driven to work every day and to beach with her girlfriends....and dont look back.

I know..! Can't believe you sold yours. I assume you still have the FJ60? Might try to buy my Dad's FJC cheap. He has a 2007 w/ a locker, kinda beat up b/c he has a farm, but most of his miles have been highway. What's ATRAC?
Not looking to do hardcore wheeling, just weekend trips camping, to the beach, light trailriding. Where can I find a set of cheap steelies for it?

Will miss the 55, but it is time to have a fun daily driver. It just sits in my garage, rarely used. So you've got a Lexus LC now? How's that?
Thanks for your support. What's the club website address? I know, I know...probably owe dues and definitely need to show up.

aaahhhh....reduced responsibility. I see.

He still is the site pecker head.

I agree with Brock on buying a used FJC. Get anything in the 2008-9 range. I really don't like what they did to the 2010 model, all to eek out 1-2 MPG more (and make it righthand driver capable for Aussies later this year).

Don't know about that chick truck comment though. Most chicks I know who drive trucks, drive 'em like they stole 'em. :D

Ummm...Heather comes to mind!!!

Chick comment---around Charleston and every where else I go I see 10 chicks driving totally stock FJC around versus the 1-2 with guys or girls with offroad modifications.

If Heather or Cat is driving it...then I would not buy it as I know they wheel the hell out of their rigs. LOL

My sister has a beautiful black FJC w/ steelies and BFG KO's, never been offroad, but looks amazing. She definitely drives it like she stole it.... maybe I should steal it from her!
