Came home from work (early) today to see my first born (cruiser that is) sitting in front of the house. :bounce:
I forgot how umm..rough it is. Its been sitting for a couple of years off and on and hasnt really seen much action..aside from the mechanical updates its had recently. Fixed some steering issues, front discs, SM465 to replace the M22.
Still a lot of work ahead that I forgot about. Total rewiring that I mentioned earlier, and needs a new gas tank, new headers and a good cleaning all around.

We took it for a 'lil rip around the block. It ran quite well considering the stale gas in it...which is really quite stinky I might add!
I'll have to redo some exhaust work because In my infinite wisdom of years ago I ran the pipes straight out the back. Now the exhaust likes to curl in from behind and into the cab area..makes for real good headaches.

I shall attempt to post some pic's of the old beast when I can dig up my old digicam.

Jeff

Added some pic's

Excuse the crappy quality..its a cheapo logitech camera.

Uhh,,lemme remember....'73 fj40, '69 chevy 350 (.030 over), AA headers (rusty..gotta go!), holley carb (time for a Qjet!), SM465, 3 sp tcase, 4:11's, 35" mud t/a's on SOA.
Dash was customized by PO, filled in a lot with autometer gauges. The tail lights have been recessed into the tub and are from a '74 Vega i think it was. Fibreglass flip front end,
but I'm thinking about putting a stock front end back on (I have no inner fenders as it is now).
And in the background you can glimpse my fj45 wheelbarrow in the carport.
