Hey guys, My buddy on these forums recently convinced me to not by a Ford and buy a Toyota, I looked at probably over 100 4Runners till I found this one, check it out.

1995 4Runner

I offered him $5,500, my father is going to pick it up next week due to geographical complications (deployed to Iraq)

Tell me what you guys think!

By the way, is this the right forum for the 95 Runners? or is the earlier generation Toyota forums the one? a bit confused over them both have the 95 year.

thanks!

I think it looks great, and your welcome to stay in both forums! Thanks for your Service!

Your '95 is the 2nd generation 4rnr, they changed in 96 (95.5 for the beginning of the tacoma--which is why our section is titled 95+). Hope you're able to come home soon and get to enjoying the new Toyota.

Welcome :flipoff2:

2X Flatland's thanks for your service!!

Nice 4 Runner too - be safe, hurry back, mod the 4 runner and hit the trails!

I'm glad you took my advice and got a yota. The Foreskinner sure is nice but you shoulda got a Cruiser! :flipoff2:

Maybe you should have been more specific on which Yota was acceptable? :D
Cruisers ARE easier to mod but he's getting started - so I'll give him a break...

BTW - if you're in the "sand box" for our country - Thanks!

I think it depends on a person's situation. Cruiser's are definitely nice, but for me, they did not fit the bill. I wanted either a Cruiser (FZJ80) or a 4Runner a while back, and went with the 4Runner due to better MPG, less $$ required to maintain, and the size. I don't rock crawl, so the double lockers, although very cool, would've been hardly used, if at all. The rear locker of the 4Runner was sufficient.

Both great vehicles. Can't go wrong with either.

Congratulations on seeing the light.

I used to drive Fords until I got fed up with major repairs by 100,000 miles on every one of them. I traded in my Bronco for a Tacoma and have never looked back.

That's a nice looking truck - I think you'll really like it.
