Red Hot Chili Peppers, almost any song, but HEY oh, and Raindance Maggie are my favorite,

THE MISFITS. or anything that is screamed into the mic!

Heavy Metal.

Like these guys, funk band

Been obsessed with the Avett Brothers for a few years now. They get put in the "Americana" category, basically a fusion of folk, bluegrass, country and rock. Everything from subtle little ballads and old timey stuff to their live shows which are really rocking. I cover (poorly) a bunch of their songs in my open mic ukulele set :)

I've seen them twice at Meadowbrook and the crowd difference from year to was massive. Now that they've filled the TD Garden I doubt they'll play that small of a venue again for a while.

I listen to them a lot too.

Young guitar player Quinn Sullivan playing with Buddy Guy. He was 8 the first time he played with Buddy.

That was good Junior! I liked the lyrics.
Now, at our favorite bar in Nashville,

I started dragging Ian to a Blues Jam in town when he was 15.
These guys were one of the host bands. They would play a 40 minute
set then opened it up to anyone who wanted to play. They really helped Ian
along with his playing.
It gets good at about 2 minutes.

Nice Lane and Junoir! Great thread Randy! The Delta Saints remind me of Widespread. Junior I'm sure you've heard Gary Clark Jr.? One of my newer faves.

My musical tastes are all over the place.
As some of you I'm also an Avett Brothers fan.
Most of the time my Pandora is usually on the Avett Brothers channel, Grateful Dead station or G Love and Special Sauce.

The man in black! Huge! Long before the movie, I grew up on that sound.
Some of my first music I remember as a kid was Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, Led Zep and Joni Mitchell.

I love music that makes me laugh. I love these dudes!
