I'm driving to Burlington VT on Monday then on to Rutland VT on Tuesday from Millis, MA.

Going for business and I only have 20 minutes worth of work to do on each day. I am Jack's wasted life....:bang:

Anyway, I have a 4-door sedan so I could MUDship some parts either to or from VT if anyone needs. Big stuff would be a problem but I could drive my wife's Volvo SUV if there is a bigger item.

Might as well do something while I'm doing nothing.

I say pints in Bristol on monday night. Halfway between the two. What say you?

I have no hotel rezzie yet. I literally have one 20 minute meeting monday nite and another of the same presentation on tuesday. ugh. Beer sounds good!

Someone say cruiser beers???? I am in.

There is a nice dude from Montreal that has been trying to get some parts moved up this way. If you can get them to Burlington, they can be stowed at my house (near the airport) until pick-up from him. I forget his name but he pm'd you above.

Thought about staying in Burlington near the airport in one of the hotels on Monday nite. Rather burn the day in Burlington than Bristol I would guess. How far is bristol from there?

Already working stuff out with our Montreal amigo!

John-

Can you grab a manifold and some other 60 crap from Rabid? I could meet you on central/western route 2 if you can do that...

Bristol is about 35-40 min from the airport- nice ride down 116.

Probably be the bobcat brew pub in bristol, there is a great place called Dan's Place ( a bar, not my house), but they are closed on mondays.

What time is the meeting on monday? Might be easier to meet in town.

Sporin, got a better place closer to you?

I can bring the above mentioned 60 stuff wherever.

If you are that close to the airport, you are dangerously close to vtcruiser60's house.

There is always hooters....

Near the Burlington airport, next door to the owl restaurant is the Ground Round...which I prefer. Their waitstaff tends to be out of high school.

YOu could make a reservation at the Ethan Allen Motel and walk to either place....

Did I hear cruiser beer? Bristol is an hour and a half from Dave and I. How about Brandon? John, you can stay at my house which is 40 minutes below Rutland.

Let's see...2 hr drive to the airport from MTL, plus what ever delay I find at the border, and then 2 hrs back home, again plus what ever delays I find at the border again, and ...................just too far :frown:

Ironically enough, I don't think I have something to bring up anymore, as the nicest dude who was holding my roof for me, sort of fell in love with it I guess, and I think he just bought it from me !!

Jim does have a nice old rim for my '64, but unless someone is coming all the way up to MTL, I think it will be easier, and cheaper on gas, just to mail the darn thing.

I have a wine shop in Winchendon. You could grab it from there anytime.

Save it for the FG and pick it up then! If you change your mind, let me know!

Now I'm thoroughly confused. I'll probably will stay in the Bristol/Burlington end of VT but I do appreciate the offer. Can't see driving past Rutland then going back up again.

Burlington has some good bars and stuff to do at night plus cheap/nice hotels for the weary, drunken business traveler. Remember, I have a whole day to kill on Tuesday so being near Rutland doesn't factor in necessarily.

I'd be happy to let you guys take me out to lunch on Tuesday tho. Just trying to be a nice guy.

High school girls and motels.....sounds like a party!

W-town? That's so close to nowhere it's close to me! I'll even buy wine...

Nice! Nothing screams wine like Winchendon. We have no sign and we're in the back of a run down warehouse with a dirt parking lot next to Rite Aid on the main drag. Paradise.
