Mud weirdness?

Anybody else getting this? It's only happening for me on mud and only recently. Images get corrupted, html gets severely corrupted, etc. Refreshing fixes it but it's weird that it just randomly started acting up...

EDIT: Nevermind, figured out that the netgear router I was using as a wireless bridge is causing it. Looking for a fix.

Let me know if you find a fix. I've just installed a netgear wireless router and have started having the same problems, also only with mud. Refreshing a few times fixes it, but it's annoying.

This worked for me

Warning: Proceed at your own risk...

Short version:
1. Download Firmware update and install from "Router Upgrade" option under Maintenance
2. Under WAN Settings, Check "Disable SPI Firewall" and apply

Long version:

I was also experiencing this the past few days since I've started browsing mud again... I'm running a netgear WGR614 v6 Wireless Router (basically the run of the mill Netgear wireless G router)

I'm not sure if I've completely fixed it but over the past 10 minutes I've been able to browse normally with out any issues (use to happen every other page load).

Keep in mind by doing this you are disabling the router's firewall. I won't bore you with details, but if you are using the router with its default configuration, you should be fine (IE you have DHCP/NAT enabled, and Respond to Ping disabled).

If that’s all Greek to you... read below (assuming your menus are the same as mine)For DHCP/NAT... Under menu Advanced ... LAN IP Setup... Use Router as DHCP Server - should be checked.For Respond to Ping ... Under WAN Setup - Respond to Ping on Internet Port should be unchecked...

If either of these options, aren't where they should be, hold off doing the fix and get someone to help you (or read the manual :b).

Also, it’s a good idea to run a firewall on your computer, and while you're at it make sure your wireless network is secured.Hope this helps,

I think I've tried this but I'll give it another go. Shortening the packet pipeline makes sense (hence disabling stateful packet inspection) because it seems like a sync error where the router is rewinding the packet buffer and resending fragments of previous packets.

We'll see if it has any effect.

Good luck, I figured it was some sort of firewall or packet inspection, security features don't always work as intended (newer virus software will do this too IE Symantec Endpoint Protection)

Anyhow - this is from Opera, Mozilla will probably be the same - my post formatting is still jacked up, atleast I can browse now, I don't post much anyway =)

I'm on a WGR614 v6 as well.

Disabling SPI (checking the box) has helped a bit, but I still get freakin corruption.

God netgear makes some crap products. Absolute rubbish.

Their older switches (the metal bodied ones) are almost bulletproof. I don't know why their newer products are such a pain.

It is odd that mud is the only site I have issues with. I'm a member of several other vbulletin forums and have never had any issues, except for here.
