It seems to act as thought its hungry for fuel or flooding out. Starts and runs then wants to bog down and die. I'm thinking its needing fuel, the plug is dry and ech time I have to choke it to start. I have replaced the plug, checked the fuel filter, refueled with new mixture, cleaned the air filter. upon looking I can not see any cracks in the fuel line.

Anyone think of anything else?

Thanks, I'll check that tommorrow and let you know. Is that fuel line hard to remove or just look at it?

Takes about 9-11 minutes. Longer if you clean your air filter. LOL

It will take you longer to find a clean container to dump the gas in and find your needle nose pliers than the repair will take.

You will dump the gas, remove the fuel filter from the end of the hose inside the tank. The hose should stretch so the filter comes all the way out of the tank. If it does not, it was bad anyway.

Unplug the hose at the carburetor and pull the hose up towards the carburetor.

1127 358 7702 is the part number for the new hose.

Pretty much assemble in reverse order. You will need to put a little lube on the hose before you seat it home inside the tank housing.

I checked the fuel line its good, the fuel filter is good. So I guess I have got to get into the carb?

Any breakdown pictures?

The saw will start and run, to get the rpms up I need to pump the throttle fast ... seems to run well at high speed and then idle and die, sometimes when I hit the throttle it bogs and dies ...

Thank you sir for all the help...

Have you changed anything from when the last time it ran good?

Yes sir, I replaced the oil pump and the plastic gear, worked well for about 2 cords. Sat in the shed a couple days and then started to disagree with me.

Thanks.

The plastic/nylon gear was bad and the oil pump itself when you tryed to turn it with your finger it was hanging up ... the dealer stated that the brass looking bushing on the end that holds the gear in place was missing.

Therfore with the oil pump gear hanging that striped the plastic/nyon gear. I replaced both of them it is oiling perfect. The pump itself appears to be fine if one could get a new brass looking bushing to press into the end I am sure the pump would work.
Thanks

Do you think the oiler drive gear got hot enough to damage the crankshaft seal directly behind the oiler gear? Do you remember seeing and discoloration, etc?

I would say no, I do not recall any discoloration nor do I see any damage to the drive gear ... I am getting good at tearing into it! If you think I need to go back in and inspect the seal I can ...

Thanks
