The main seal on my sunroof is definitely not tight to the exterior metal of the truck in some spots. In the one back corner if I shine a flashlight from below you can see the light coming through. The water gets into the tray and drains properly to the front drains...for now. Are most of the sunroofs like this at this point being that these trucks are getting older? I imagine that at one point the seal was tight but not anymore. Again it isn't leaking but it is a little unnerving knowing that the water gets inside and then drains down. Also as a bonus I also recently discover that the sunroof does not work. I attempted to "vent" it and it made an awful clicking sound, struggled to partially go up, and then barely made it back closed...awesome. I searched and found the threads with some guys attacking this. I would rather replace a head gasket than take down the headliner and work on the sunroof. I honestly have no use for the sunroof and would seal it up in a heartbeat. Is that what most people just end up doing? And then pulling a fuse to prevent an accidental opening attempt?
