Any of you taking your 100's to Moab this year? I am going to sign up this week and would like to run atleast 1 run with another 100.

For those of you who have been there in a 100, what trails should I run. I have an ARB front bumper, soon to have a rear bumper, and should have my sliders by May.

Also if you guys are going where are you staying?

Thanks

I went last year and ran Fins, Gold Bar Rim, and Poison Spider and had a blast.

I would definitely recommend a front bumper and sliders at minimum, and really a rear bumper is needed as well. I beat the hell out of my bumpers and sliders. They all took some nasty hits and I scraped off a lot of paint but they all held up great!

I ran it with 863's and hit the rear bumper alot. On 866's, you'll hit even more. There were two or three other 100's out there without a rear bumper and they beat their stock bumpers up pretty good, but I think the stock tow bars saved them to some degree. They'll have to weigh in on that for you.

There were four or five 100's there last year and all did pretty well. I was fortunate to run two of the three days with another 100 in my group; that was nice.

Now that I've gone once, my next list of trails would include Elephant Hill, Hell's Revenge and Golden Spike. You can't really go wrong though, all of the trails out there are a lot of fun and the scenery is incredible.

Good luck to you and have lots of fun. Its a great trip and it is run very well by Rising Sun.

I'd take it easier Chris until you swap out that front diff. That said, had I not a had a bad CV I guarantee you I could have run Golden Spike open with TRAC the entire way. The Crack would have been cake (it was locked for sure). Locking the thing up to protect that CV took a lot of fun away.

Still, I don't think you want to jerk and claw with a factory front 2-in diff that far away from home.

Sorry to sound negative....I'm just a little on the conservative side after seeing a '99 explode in front of me when it just should not have.

Nobody else is going?? Thanks for the responses...

I'm in again, don't know what I'm running (comittee just fills in the blanks as needed). Fairly positive I'm leading fins on friday. :D

I want to go, but I don’t think funds will allow at this time. Well see how it works out.
