Dear Fellow Cruiser Enthusiasts...

As far as I know most repair shops use Mitchell Manuals as their "go to" source for all things repair related. They subscribe to the On-Line manuals on a monthly basis (~$300-500 / month). I see the phone book size paper manuals collecting dust on shelves in the shops I go to.

Mitchell Manuals has a DIY site where you can subscribe for their manuals the vehicle(s) you select. You pay by the month (~$20), year (~$30), or four years (~$45). IMHO... they have some of the best diagrams and diagnosis sections out there. I have used them for the last 15-20 years for various vehicles I have owned. You can print out the sections you feel are most critical for your particular area of need. I did a search for the site on MUD and nothing turned up figuring few knew about it.
The website is : www.eautorepair.net
Select the "Subscribe" button and instructions will guide you through the process. NOTE: if you haven't navigated inside their manual layout it may seem a lot but over time it gets easier. Please check it out. I have a lot of printouts for my FJ60.
Another NOTE: Mitchell only goes back so many years for the On-Line manuals. Beyond a certain year (not sure...1976 ?) they sell a CD that contains all vehicles manuals back to the 1930s I believe.
