I just found out the hard way that my LC200 did not come with the 7-pin connector, so I went to the dealer to check some new LC's on their lot, and sure enough, 1 had the connector, and 1 didn't.

You should check your LC. The connector is supposed to be on the right side of the hitch receiver.

Mine came in a box with the 2" hitch and pin. I would have to install it, but it seems to just plug in somewhere underneath with a short wiring harness. The plug has a bracket and it looks like it would mount somewhere behind the bumper. I don't tow with my 200 so I've never hooked it up. You should be able to order one from Toyota, plug it in, and go.

Your truck needed to be order with the tow package. It's the hitch and the 7 pin plug that mounts under the bumper. My dealer didnt install mine, it was in the trunk. You might be able to find one that someone didnt install if the DEALER speced tow package for a non special order car.

Dont know many dealers that have LCs in inventory. Try posing here to see if anyone has one laying around or just order the package. There were no additional modifications to the truck with the tow package.

It's a customer installed part that comes with all of them. Demand the dealer who sold you the vehicle give you one.

Sorry about that but I think you're right. My truck came with the tow hitch and ball. I mistaken thought that was a "tow package". I'm fairly certain that the 7 pin plug was in that box. I remember something also being in the glovebox but cant remember what part it was.
