building a buggy. btg chassis. how important are the misalignment spacers for a 4 link setup using hiem joints?

I used the washer-type spacers, not the ones that insert inside the heim...but you definitely need something....

Standard Misalignment is what I used.

If you are looking to save some $, Ruffstuff specialties carries some zinc plated misalignment spacers that are a lot less expensive than the stainless ones most everyone else sells.

I run 1.25" heims on two of my lower links but I made sure the width of the tabs with the misalignment spacers was still 2-5/8" so I could still swap a joint in as a spare if I ever needed to.

I made the mistake on my first 4 link to not make the mounts the same width as a Jonny Joint / Creaper Joint or hiem with spacers. Now I am redoing them all !!!
