'Lil Landy' is up for sale! We bought this Ute almost a year ago to accommodate the entire family when going on sweet adventures. Prior to this rad truck we had a 2014 4Runner Trail Premium and would like to go back to a 4Runner with a 3rd row this time. We will miss the cooled and heated seats, the headed steering wheel, and my girls will miss the three zone heat and second row heated seats. This Lexus is super nice (for our standards too nice which brings about this ad
) and we are in no hurry to sell.
I have completed many items of maintenance which can be seen at lexus.drivers.com, but I'll list them here anyway. I like to do my own work so I only have to holler at myself when stuff goes wrong! With this rig, everything was easy peasy.
83k miles - purchased used from Saint Cloud Subaru with cracked rear tail lamp. SCS had new front rotors and pads, synthetic oil change, and a detail done before sale.
83,333 - replaced cracked tail lamp with OEM part. Replaced stock grill with F-Sport grill. Aligned roof rails to allow moon roof to open fully. Checked all engine bay fluids and filled the reservoir with a quart of Pink.
83,555 - replaced rear brake pads with OEM pad set. Also greased driveshafts and u-joints.
89,450 - Replace Spark Plugs, Clean throttle body and mass airflow sensor.
90,053 - Change Oil (synthetic) and Filter, Rotate Tires. The plastic oil filter housing was replaced with a metal housing at this time. 90,085 - First of 4 planned drain and fills of Toyota WS Trans Fluid. Driveline lubed as well. This service was completed over the next 100miles. Factory level set per FSM.
91,978 - Lexus of Wayzata completed Air injection recall and passenger side airbag recall. Service tech also noted the water pump had just started leaking.
92,052 - Test Cooling System Pressure. Replace Drive Belts. Drain and Replace Coolant. Replace Water Pump. Aisin water pump and thermostat. Gates serpentine belt with associated tensioners and idlers.
93,450 - Replace both key batts and rear wiper.
94,902 - Replace Tires. New Nokian WR G4 on all 4 corners, 265/70/17. Mitch is a stand up guy! In and out in less than an hour.
96,183 - Change oil/filter, Mobil1 and Toyota OEM filter. Change front and rear differential fluid with Redline Syn 75/85. Replace transfer case fluid with Redline Syn MT-LV. Lube u-joints and shafts.
Brings us to today! Only filled with 91oct or higher. Rear leveling suspension is great for loads. Bags DO NOT leak or sag even when parked for a week or more. The 17 speaker Mark Levinson system is pretty dang nice. The Konig Six-Shooters from FN wheels are a nice looking set on this Lexus. The 4.6 V8 is strong and smoooooth when paired with the 6spd trans. Coming from the 4.0 and 5spd in the 4Runner was a night and day difference. Why sell? Why not?! Ask away with any questions. We are in Minnesota and yes, salt is used on the roads. I washed this thing every week this winter. I have many other pics to send interested parties (if I can figure out how to send...), just ask!!
