Hey guys, I am new to this corner of the site, but theres a mini that I have been checking out near me for 600 bucks. It's IFS, looks like the first year that they were made that way, and has maybe a 3-4" lift. Worth it? I would like to do an SAS immediately and then hopefully go with four links. Just wondering what your opinions are for buying it or not. Thanks for the help.

The first year for IFS was '86. Personally, I would just look for an 85 (which already has the solid axle) or I would find a newer truck to do the SAS conversion.

Is the motor carbed or injected? (could be either on an 86 pickup)

Check the frame carefully for rust, especiallly near the gas tank.
