I'm thinking of upgrading my Miller 135A 110v MIG welder to a 190A 220v unit to be able to weld heavier thicknesses of steel. My miller welders have been problem free for many years. Does anyone have any recent experience (good or bad) with either the Hobart 190 or Millermatic 190 MIG welders. Thanks for any insight you can provide.

I just read some additional comments on welders in this forum. I guess the machines I am asking about are probably very similar since they are owned by the same company.
 
similar but I would expect that the Miller would have more features and higher performance to justify some of the price differential.
