I drive an 80 series diesel with dual tanks and to refuel one tank or the other, I have to yank a knob near the fuel filler pipe.

I was looking at a used 90 yesterday and it also had the dual tank configuration (sub tank switch near driver's right knee?).

I'd just like to ask how do I chose which tank I'm putting fuel in when I'm at the petrol station? Sorry I did not take time to read the owner's manual and the used car dealer was clueless.

Aussie Spes 90 series

the 90 series as sold in Australia all have the duel fuel tank and the neck os the filler have two holes with one Screw type Fuel cap for both holes. The main fuel tank guage is in the instrument cluster with the Sub tank in the lower part of the Clock, the clock is also Digital and Analog to the vehicles fitted with only one fuel tank. The change over is via an rocker switch on the L/H side and below the streering wheel. Hope this helps

I don't have the owner's manual of the vehicle now and I wonder how it will be to refuel dual tanks with one fuel filler hole only and no switch on the fuel filler. hehehe.

Local Prado's are also single tank. This one just happens to be an import (with more goodies than locally available).
