Going to make a run up there to play in the snow on Saturday. Planning on bring the pooch to let him cut loose and play around. Any one interested on going?

We can meet up at the Starbucks off of Sly Park at 10am.

I've never been up to MET in the snow but it seems like too much of a hassle. Too many stupid rules and laws in effect in that area. I've been following this thread to see what conditions are like: http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/usa-...mon-emigrant-trail-2014-a-3.html#post24919714

Most of the time we just pick some other random forest roads in the forests (Stanislaus mainly) and play around. Although this year snow levels were pathetic. This is Pinecrest Lake / Dodge Ridge just two weeks ago

I haven't been on the MET before, wasn't aware of any rules or laws... Guess I need to dig in and see what's up.

Crazy that Pine Crest looks like that, two years ago we got snowed on there over Memorial Day weekend.

Well the dog officially loves the snow! Too bad no one could make it, could have had some fun wheeling.

Not sure on the snow level, didn't have to go that far up to get to some decent snow. Probably 6" where we finally stopped.
