Like many of you, I lost a pet that was near and dear to my heart a few years ago. Being the practical sort, I saw little point in digging a hole with out planting something. So in went a desert willow. 5 years later, it's grown from a stick into a fine young tree. It's like my little girl wakes up every spring and smiles at me all summer

As pet owners, we know unconditional love and heartbreaking loss. Having something beautiful grow from the remains is a great way to remember.

This is a really cool idea. I had my little girl cremated and a small urn. It may sound silly but she was a big part of my family for 16 years.

Not silly at all. They're a big part of your life for a long time, losing them is rough.

yeah, it's mostly desert willow, but its' got some labador in it, too...
