Wife and I and some friends are looking to do a day ride near Lakewood, WI. This would be a family deal BTW, Kathryn will be helmeted and strapped in to her seat for the first time out wheeling. Anyone else interested?

I'm stuck in South Carolina for that weekend, and my junk is still broke from Howiepalooza

Sorry to hear that. What did you break?

Amanda actually broke it ;)

But I was spotting.

Anyway High centered on a indian sex stone bent the crossmember to the point of can't get low range. and tore one corner of the mount loosse from the frame.
I need to have Jimmy fab me one up once I get back home

Where is Lakewood? I will be near Reedsburg wheeling on a friends land. The more the merrier!

http://www.mccaslinmountain.com/ This is a campground where we usually meet. They charge a small parking fee but the wheeling is usually good. Mapquest their address for directions from where ever you are.

I will be in Gov. Dodge state park "wheeling" with my kids on 2 wheelers:)

Sounds like fun.............If I hadn't split my one piece transfercase in half last week end. Now I may as well go through the transmission too.

finally! I will be in townsend that weekend and will meet up for sure! I don't have the cruiser up north yet....gotta square up with rooster and get a set of springs from him as well ;)

920-851-0476 give me a call when you guys get up there!

Max, I put your number in my phone and set the alarm to call you on the morning of the 27th. Will you need a seat? My wagon will be full but there should be others with room. Or, stop in Appleton, Woody has plenty of stuff that needs to be wheeled before it rots in his garage. He won't mind, I'm sure of it!

Smokin5.0 did a great job wheelin the 80 at Howiepalooza, but I'm sure the 40 could use some abuse.

as of right now it looks as if i may be going up with a few buddies.....so i will either wheel my fullsize or just meet up with you guys at camp afterwards. either way i will be spending the night at my cottage in townsend, so i'm not worried about camping, etc

Maybe I'll have to hit up the woodster about stealin his 40 for a beatin, I'll have to check with the :princess: too.

steal it....I ain't usin it...you've got PM on it too....

Bridgette may wanna go too....or ride along, to learn how the 40 works...

and, you've got my list in PM too ;)

We had a blast. It wasn't to crowded really, we were on the mountain by 9am and the lunatics were still sleeping or wrenching or just to hung over to wheel. We got in two good rides, cleaned up some garbage and enjoyed a relaxing day. Apparently late last week there were 60mph winds and one helluva storm up there. There was deadfall EVERY WHERE. Not one single trail was cleared. Some normally boring areas were actually more fun. Machete was more like log jam but fun none the less.
