Memorial day cheap ass beach camping

In case anyone is debating on going we are meeting at the Central Point Pilot at 9am. My buddy is bringing his 4wheeler and his Heep. We're just making sandwiches and snacking at the beach and then eating dinner in Crescent City or Wild River in Cave Junction. I'll get a pic if I have to pull out his Heep with my 4runner!

Cops are out in force this weekend. Travel safely and keep your eyes peeled for those who "Protect and Serve" !! Oh, yes, and have a little fun.

Beach report... FREAKIN WINDY!!!! We drove onto the beach and both rigs did great. My buddy even aired down his tires and was able to go up and over the little beach dune in 2wd! We had 35mph winds so we didn't stay too long because we were got sandblasted so bad. We headed inland and hung out on a rocky beach on the river instead. The kids dug an enormous hole at the beach and then they attempted to fill the river with rocks later. Good times, we will definitely have to go back when the weather is better.
