It was decided to start charging annual membership dues to help eventually offset some regular and repeating costs. Dues will give you the following:
1. Ability to attend any Club Only functions such as Annual Oyster Roast.
2. Ability to camp at club sponsored sites free
3. Will receive two SFLC decals (square and round) plus business cards to identify yourself and your vehicles as Swamp Fox Land Cruisers
4. Discounts with our supporting vendors only afforded to SFLC Members (Sparks TRD, LexTech, etc)
5. Participation in any club sponsored HAMOM's (Help a Member of the Month).
As the club evolves or membership votes we can include or exclude any items and are not restricted to only including mentioned items above...this is an idea and trying to move forward so that two or three members are not always picking up the costs for all the little things that occur. Plus, people have more commitment when they have spent some of their own money on a cause or item...
I will be going through rosters and emails and sending out notices to everyone that has participated in any meetings, events, or just stated they were interested the past two years.
Thank you to those that have always come out of their pocket to help cover costs of food, stickers, business cards, websites, tshirts, campsites, etc....it was greatly appreciated but fair to ask everyone to share some of the load in future I think, even if small at first.
