Guys, suddenly people have stopped paying dues. WE HAVE THE LARGEST CLUB IN AMERICA... and our website shows about 30 paid members.
Members need to start paying dues. there's about 50-60 more members who have not paid yet. Christmas is coming and if you pay now..the hit won't be so hard on the wallet. Please go to the website and paypal $30.00. It is the right thing to do!!

Steve, how are you handling the TLCA renewals? I popped in the extra $$ to renew my TLCA membership.
 
i've got the list of expireds from eric vogt. i'll be calling and checking, trying to bring folks back. anybody want a copy to help out?
gary you want to post the names here, so that people can see they have expired, and remind them to re-up?
a rather noticeable chunk of our expireds are long distance members, so the reminder calls could be helpful. if any body wants a copy of the list to help make the calls, please let ,me know. i'm heading into christmas at work, so i won't get a tremendous amount called until after the first of the year. any thing else i can do, just let me know.

I joined but can't make meetings due to class on Thursday nights. I think it is a great resource and hope to 'borrow' assistance from fellow members when time permits. The opportunity to wheel with a group is also great.

By the way, how do we get LSLC schwag? Specifically the stickers?

Jason, honestly I don't know how the TLCA renewals (from our site) get to TLCA.
Maybe Gary or Nick can enlighten us?

:D That's what I was afraid of...

I was against doing this when it came up as it sounded like a logistical pain in the ass. Unless someone posts up and says that everything is taken care of, do you think you can refund that money back to me and I'll go directly through TLCA?
 
Shoot...It never even occurred to me Jason....it was a great great idea about having it up on the site....I guess we never figured out how it gets to TLCA.
Give me your paypal address and I'll refund you the money.

I think you are supposed to get an ID card and a sticker with you membership....but we have gotten a little unorganized in terms of new member welcome packets of schwag, etc.

Maybe Gary or Steve can chime in with a more educated answer.

We took the stickers to Pismo with us, but they will be back at the meeting this Thursday.
The TLCA stuff was supposed to to auto routed to TLCA after you finished the LSLC registration. I emailed Chris Gray to see whats up. Hold tight because it may just be a glitch. I too did the TLCA reg when I reg with LSLC and have not heard any info back.
 
I'm upto date on TLCA but what do I need to do to get up on LSLC dues ???

go to www.lslc.org, and find the link to join. then pay. simple. and we are glad to have you coming back!!!
 
just to clarify the situation for those who may have been out of the loop:
any renewal done through www.lslc.org is paid and current through january '08
that's $30 to be current through 01/08. folks, that's $2.60 A MONTH.
this is the bargain of the year.
i've seen our expireds list, and we have a lot of our core brethren that we are missing, and we'd sure like to see you coming back. thanks for your time,

I was at the meeting. I dont remember anyone having any stickers. I would like one if anyone has any. Also, on the back of Todd's 80 he has "Lone Star Land Cruisers" stickered across the top of his rear glass. They look to be about 2-3" letters. Are any of those still available?

The stickers were at the meeting, but I forgot to mention them. I will have them at Decembers meeting.

Poser...There is no news letter anymore. The website and forum have become the communication alley.
