It's not cool at 50 bucks a pop. So far they are easy to change out. The knock sensors are under the intake. I really don't want to do that.

Picked up my front driveshaft and finally got the right hardware for the rear. I had a project nearby the pig so I stopped by for a little. We bled the brakes. Tomorrow we will put the driveshafts in and maybe zip around the block.

I thought about it and didn't change the ps pump for some reason and it is making some noise. Might swap in a new one too.

Busy week. Work, second work, home, Pig. Let's see... We put in the rear drive shaft and Steve took it around the block early in the week. Back springs were all bound up and he said it was undrivable. First thing on Sat we pulled the leafs out and took 1 leaf out of each and it is way better now. New AC lines were made and plumbed. Compressor clutch does not work. So I ordered a new one . Intake is complete, thanks again to @Calgary40 for the idea. Mounted the shock reservoirs and painted the under portion of the fenders. We plumbed the shower but I realized we had it so hot water was going thru the pump. I would rather it run thru cold so we switched it up a bit but I need some more hose. Don't we all? Fab'd up 2 of the roof racks. 2 more to go.

Front drive shaft is in. New power steering pump is in. We lifted the front springs up about 1 inch. It is still a little down in the front but will probably level out when loaded. Put in the limit strap tabs. Need to buy the straps and hardware.

Then we drove it. It handles decent, but it still needs nitro in the front shocks. Couldn't really stretch out because I don't have tail lights. We did tons of little chingaderros all around the Pig. Getting close, but so is June 23rd.

Wire loom is in. Still integrating to the rats nest under the dash. Started on the inner fender fabbing. Almost done with the passenger side and have one part of the driver. The drive by wire gas pedal is in. Hydroboost is plumbed except we need to mount the remote reservoir. Bought a new radiator, got all the fluids for the engine and trans, bought all the fuel lines and fittings.
Fooking drive by wire. Had to replace the pedal in one of my rigs a few years ago, now I get to buy the throttle body.
I'd rather have a throttle cable.
Why not try steer by wire? Sure! Why not?

Got the ac compressor in. Wasn't easy. Had loosen up the radiator and pull it up to get the compressor in and out. Filled it up with the cold juice and we have A/C.

Got the limit straps in. Wasn't easy. Actually it was stupid because of things just in the way the whole time.

Had to replace the stop light switch. Could actually get it at Napa. Amazing.

The list is better. Still need to:
put the custom tail lights in.
finish the wiring to the rear.
finish the other 2 roof mounts.
get the rest of the grill and light rings on.
do something with the roof rot.
finish the shower.
fill the coilovers with nitrogen.
mount the tent.
needs wipers.
put the hood on
put the cowl on
maybe rattle can the pig again.
I need to drive it over 30 mph and see how it handles. That is where the list may change and I am a little scared.

I was scared driving mine from Oklahoma to Colorado after just a few hundred miles of around-town driving. Babied it for a little bit and nothing seemed to pop up, so I spent most of the trip cruising 75 with my wife pulling a trailer behind me as a safety precaution. She had a hard time keeping up with a 4Runner. Now I don't hesitate to jump in and hit the road to anywhere. You'll have some fun with it! Build is looking good.

New items I forgot:
Transfer case skid plate
Trailer plug wiring
Hand Brake
Transfer case shifter plate

Cowl is on.
Shower complete.
New wipers.
I picked up some paint today. Its not exactly what I wanted but I am going for it. Not like I can't get some more cans and change again.

Drove it a bit today. About 12 miles total in town. Had some hesitation on WOT. Turned out to be a MAF code. So I went and bought another one. When I took the old one off there was a pin bent back. Straightened it out and code was gone. Took it back out and rompt on it and it runs pretty good now. Im sure I had a 💩 eating grin the whole time.

Tomorrow a client nearby is going to put shock juice in for me. Few other odds N ends done. Going to hit the freeway after I get the shocks filled. See how it feels.
