(not official minutes, just some quick notes)
At the meeting, we discussed incorporating to protect ourselves. We found out that we have insurance for all get togethers (EXCEPT wheeling events) through TLCA. This would cover us for tech days, meetings, parties (as long as alcohol is not sold) etc...
We are looking to incorporate as a social club (non profit).
Bylaws will be first order of priority. We never had proper bylaws. A draft version will soon be put out for members to see.
We are going to make sure that all CLCC members are also TLCA members in good standing (if you have not yet renewed, do so).
TLCA will have a special coming up... $40 membership will also make you member of Blue Ribbon coalition. This is to increase Blue Ribbons membership. They are involved in maintaining trails open/ land use issues.
