New member Jesse H attended. Great to have more participation
No Run For February, lots of reasons.
Ryan had done the Run with the Reno club, last minute thing.
Ryan has secured a discount for Toyotally Awesome Cruiser members at Auburn Toyota. Please contact him for the code.
A run has been scheduled for March 13th, Ryan created an event on FaceBook with the details. Grass Valley K-Mart parking lot at 9AM.
It was decided that the club will start using the Clubhouse section of IH8MUD to more formally communicate to members. Not everyone uses FaceBook, and previous e-mail lists have some addresses that get bounced back. If you are not signed up for this forum, you really should as it is very dedicated to Land Cruisers of all generations.
For those of you with ham radio licenses and radios, it was agreed that we would use 146.46 as our trail frequency, for those who need to program their radios.
There was a mention that the Reno Club (Battle Born Cruisers) has thought about trying for a TLCA event. It was thought this could be done as a joint venture with our club. Obviously not for 2021, but looking at an event in 2022. It would be fun to be able to participate in a recognized event. It would be a great opportunity for the writers and photographers in the group to create something worthy to submit to the “Toyota Trails” magazine.
The next meeting is scheduled for March 23rd, location TBD.
