Thanks for the post in my thread.

Ebay will be the next step. I will need to make sure MSAS has no qualms if I do. Can't really see why they wouldn't. I am a little apprehensive though; I have never sold anything on ebay, much less a car. I am not sure I would know what I was doing...

Anybody have any luck/experience?

Well, I have a (3) next to my name from purchases with 100% feedback. Maybe?

Why have you not asked the place selling your car to see what they find on the auction sties that every one uses....I.e. smart auction...then they have a guarantee of the condition or can send back? Or go talk to u/c Manager at local Toyota store? What dealers put on cars.com and other public (to us) is older/slow inventory.

That was the whole reason I went with MSAS in the first place. They have been looking for a green 200 for about 8 weeks now. Nothing so far. If and when they do find one, it should be a pretty good deal, but the problem is there is no guarantee that they will EVER come across one. I can either be patient, or go out and find one on my own. I am kinda doing both right now.

Small update:

I have someone that seems to be seriously interested in the 40. I guess we will see where this leads...He has asked for the VIN to get financing going at his bank. Fingers crossed. We haven't agreed upon a price, but I told him that I had a little flexibility (on the $35k asking price).

As to the Green 200. I am very close to pulling the trigger on one. I am playing this close to the chest though. It is a 1 owner Texas truck that seems to be very clean and well maintained. The underside looks great too. All signs are telling me this might be the one-- I will know sometime by next week if this is it.

As to MSAS--I have been very disappointed in the way that they have advertised the car. I am so happy to have the real estate on Lakeland though, I am trying to think positive. They placed an add on Ebay, and Craigslist, and basically did not use any of the wordage I sent them. I am frustrated, but like I said, the spot it has on Lakeland is so good, I am trying to look past everything else. :bang:

damn fine truck.

It is. I appreciate it, Chris.

Sounds like our wives have something in common...

No real updates.

Haven't heard anything from the guy in a few days that was getting serious about the 40.

I am getting impatient, and life/work is treating the family well, so we may just break down and buy a 200 without selling the 40. I have my eye on a 2011 right now, and I am trying to dick the dealer down on the price. I should hear back from him this week. If he can come down 4-5 thousand, I will be super interested. And all other things being equal, may pull the trigger. Man, I had no idea this would be such a headache. I am just ready to get some new wheels. :bang:

I talked with David Turner, and got some good advice from him on purchasing and owning a 200. He steered me in the right direction as to the prices I need to be looking for, and the model years I need to be seeking. As a new owner of a 2013, he had nothing but great things to say.
