That is great news for you then b/c that tire is very square and says 13.1 w.

Another tire to look at would be the BFG KM2 35x12.5x17.

They run skinny and shows only 12.5 wide so you gained .6 inches and that is a ton in a front of a truck. That gives you a 15 mm advantage in backspacing for the wheel on the KM2.

Depending on the offset between your Tundra wheel and the Rock Warrior wheel the KM2 might work on 18s and no need for new wheels.

Hmm. I didn't think of that. Wouldn't 17" wheels be better for airing down?

You will never have a need to go that low on PSI to matter. That truck has more electronics that can get you traction any and everywhere....i wheeled with one a few years ago and it blew me away..

When you driving along and glance over at the F150 looking like it's low on air... it's most likely at 15psi if you even notice it's low. And honestly, it happened to me last week! pulled the gauge out and DANG! I had been riding on 15psi for about a week in a rear tire!
That said, you'll never need to go below 10psi.

Can you wheel/tire experts lend me a hand for a second?

I really like the Rock Warriors. They have a +50mm offset. I would not mind looking at a different make with the same offset.

I like the looks of the Method Double standards here: http://www.methodracewheels.com/collections/street-wheels/products/double-standard-black

Can someone look at the drop down menu on that page, and tell me if those numbers equate to a 50mm offset, or something close?

Why would you put them on a 2hunnerd?! I mean, as bah-dass as the rock warriors are... even them are strectching the appeal of the 2hunnerd. Stay OEM with your wheels.

I am already non-OEM. I don't mind switching to another non-OEM 200 wheels (I have Tundra wheels).

Someone throw out some wheels with a +50mm offset.

Will 52mm work? Call this number...

What are the Tundra steel wheels? I know a place you can get those stupid cheap.

When you are shoe-horning huge tire into a small space you need to do exactly what you are told. If Christo has the wheel and tire combo right you need to stick with it. There is so much variation in these tires and wheels, all it takes it just a bit and these things don't work.

Of course, that would be way too easy, we need 25 more pages on this subject

Stay Toyota wheels. If it was my truck I would keep the wheels you have if you like them and run a 285/75/18. You are very limited to tires but will accomplish the 35s. Toyo AT 2, Nitto Trail (they measure over 35), and KM2

I really do want a set of the Rock Warriors. Correct offset, and 17" tires are cheaper to boot.

Nolen, thanks for the heads up on the trail grapplers. Once I do get some wheels, am sure WCT49 can hook me up with some new rubbers.

Again, yall be on the look out for those wheels!

I always miss it, but that is the same Avatar I have always had. It gives me more cred in the 200 threads.

No prob.

should be your sig line.

Nah, I've got one picked out already from earlier on this thread.

I found some Rock Warriors in Tennessee. I am going to pick them up in Jackson tomorrow morning. They come with a set of BFGs. Don't worry @Jordan7118, I will NOT be keeping them. I might be able to sell the used set on CL for a hundred bucks or so.

I plan on wrapping the wheels with some 35x12.5x17 Trail Grapplers (I will just buy them new). @wct49, can you help me make that happen?

I'll be buying the Timbren bump stops and KDSS relocation brackets from SLEE soon too.

The plan will be to do all of my suspension work at once: Lift, diff drop, SPC control arms, bump stops, and KDSS relocation bracket. After they are all on, I will drive over to the tire shop, and get the 35's put on and make sure everything is aligned properly.

I will then sell my tires and wheels that I have right now to recoup a lot of the costs.
