Andrew did you get lug nuts with the wheels? If not get Chris to get you a set Monday 14x1.5 acorn seat.

Are you planning on pounding the rocks? jumping curbs? if not don't sweat the bump stops. I don't think any plastic will hold up on any form of bump stops on that pig.

Josh, I did get a set. I ordered them off of Amazon.

I am not really planning on pounding rocks or jumps, but I know I want something just for insurance (in case I go over a massive pot hole, etc.). I would hate to pound a fender. I was going to use the derlin to make a bracket that would hold the factory bump stop an inch or two further away from the frame.

35x12.50R-17 Nitto Trail Grappler MT arrived yesterday....

Over build it & enjoy it.
Sleepless nights debating foam filled struts verses nitrogen filled...
Toyota grease vs Vavoline grease....
Fox verses King
OME vs IronMan
Exxon vs Chevron

Get all this out of your system...

in less than 6 months you wont have time to fill it with Kroger gas and the only wheeling will be went you fall asleep and drive off into the median.

Hard to hear, but most likely true.

You forgot about:
Glock vs. 1911
Chili w/beans vs. no beans
Mary Ann vs. Ginger

Chris, I can't wait to get those tires mounted. I'll let you know as soon as I can get the lift installed.

My 2nd is dropping his kids off at the pool now.

Great build thread... I'll have a 200 one day!

Its more of a conversation thread; not so much building....yet. :hillbilly:

A lot of changes are coming in the next couple of weeks though.

No major updates.

Called MetalTech this morning, and found out that the shipping container containing my IronMan lift is held-up in Portland. Apparantly the port workers are on strike, so I am going to have to wait for these $%# union @#$ holes to go back to work. I could have had everything done weeks ago had I had my lift by now.

At least those are easier to answer -

Beretta
No Beans - replace with more sausage
Mary Ann

Mary Ann? Naw man Ginger all day! Ginger was a redhead and I bet she was a freak!

Beretta? You've got be kidding me. Unless craked slides is your thing.

Sausage in chili? GTFO

But, it looks like we are both on the same page with girls. Mary Ann may not have been as glamorous, but being a girl next door makes her extra sexy, and she was certainly smarter; much better to be stuck on an island with for the rest of your life. She was also known to be a little on the crazy side in real life, guaranteeing a life of fun.

Yep. I was a Mary Ann man before I saw the light.

Now I'd put up with all Gingers flaws knowing what I know :)

I fooled around with enough red-heads in high school and got my fill fast.

The answer is of course--get both.

Dawn has aged a hell of a lot better than Tina. That may be an understatement too.

FINALLY....

Heard from MetalTech today; FCP's should get here late next week. Everything is ready to go.

That 1 month wait time estimate from L.T. was waaaay off.

Balls deep in this bitch.

No turning back now.

This is SLOOOOOW going; every single bolt was VERY hard to get lose (i.e. PB Blaster, dead blow hammer, torch, gear pullers, sledge hammer, etc.)

I have been using this video as a guide:

If I can find time, I may finish the install tomorrow. I am headed to 49 Tire in the morning to get my struts compressed and my springs installed.

Thanks Andy. It took me 4 hours to get that far. It would have been a breeze had the bolts not been so hard to get out. Tomorrow I will tackle the UCAs and try to get the rest of the lift installed. The KDSS brackets will be a cinch, or will be the biggest pain in the ass; we will see.

I have not forgotten about you and the tires. I am still waiting on the other guy to commit to them. He said he wanted them, but now that they are actually available, we will see if he means it. If he backs out, they are all yours (considering you want to pay what I am asking :p)

Damn. I would've taken it to Chris about 1 hour into that BS.

Remember u kinda hinted at me--via PM when discussing the wheels--what u paid for them in the first place :) third hand tires gotta be cheap!!!
