Hey gang I was wondering if anyone can recommend a good mechanic for a 100 series in Nashville?

I purchased my TLC a few weeks ago and according to the service records in the glove box it is about time to do a little maintenance (yeah maybe I should have had them throw in an oil change when I bought the car...)

I am looking for someone to do basic maintenance on my TLC. It currently has 167k on it and I am the second owner. It was originally maintained by Beaman Toyota in Nashville until the 120k mark. After that it was maintained by HP Automotive I think the mechanics name is Marty Huffman. Marty seems to have done an excellent job in detailing the work that the previous owner did to the TLC.

From looking at the cars books it looks like all maintenance was done on time. Also it seems that the car has no major problems. I do however want someone to take another good look over the car as another piece of mind before we go on a 3k mile trip to Salt Lake City and back in a couple of weeks.

I also want to upgrade the headers to the DT headers to get a little extra power from the car and would like to know of someone to install those for a reasonable rate.

What side of Nashville are you in? I have been using Gateway tire in Hermitage for years on all my Toyotas and have never had a complant. If they mechanic that has been working on it is reasonable and has done a good job stick with him.

I just took my Hundy to CS Automotive for oil/brakes and those guys seem to know what they are doing. I've heard good things about them - Toyota certified and they had a 60 and 40 in the shop when I was there along with newer Japanese sedans.

I'm coming up on the 90K job and will probably end up going with them.
