Mechanic in/around Cola

I'm new to 40's and just joined Upstate Cruisers.

Looking to see if anyone knows of a decent mechanic with some 40 knowledge in/around Cola?? I am going to get a 78 carb rebuilt and a used diz plus igniter - need help getting it all back together.

sent you and email but not with a mechanic in Columbia unfortunately...just to welcome you to Upstate Cruisers. Will ask around for you and hopefully someone will be able to find one. If nothing else, one of our members might have a shop in Sumter where our resident mechanic can take a look and help get it fixed up during an upcoming HAMOM depending on how soon you want the work done.

Lots of 40 guys in Upstate Cruisers so someone should be able to hook you up.

Yeah, those carbs aren't hard to rebuild.
I would recommend a DUI dist though.
