Putting the word out that I may be selling my 62. I am looking at an 80 and/ro a 100, more of a biz daily. I would like it to stay in the club but not sure how much I should ask for it. It is pretty close to Toms truck minus tires. Truck never been offroading but is fully capable.

3 inch lift
Arb front
Side bars
Rear bar bumper
5 speed conversion
Spring upgrade
Headers
PIAA lights
220k miles
Clean, very little rust 2-3 spots only, couple dings & a scratch
Under Carrage almost rust free
Under hood spotless
Runs perfect!

How much should I ask? HCC members get some love if interested.

I drove this truck and it is awesome. Might post some pics if you have a chance Anthony.

Thanks Ron,

I hate to do it but after seeing a couple of the trucks at the meeting, well I kind of like those better. Mine is way cool though. By the way, I think i added your invititaion right......

I would like to keep the truck in the HC family. I am staying for sure, buying 1 or 2 more. Almost bought the 40 down in Edinburgh last month, I had a weak moment! I am infected!

I was thinking
$7500 or so? Deals for HC members...

I think you might be a little high on price. To me the 220K miles almost automatically drops the price closer to $5K. Yes, you have some nice upgrades but trucks with a similar price tag will have a few more like a winch in the ARB, tires to match the lift and maybe a locker or two. I would not go out and add those items (other than maybe an inexpensive brand name winch like a Ramsey 9.5e or similar) in hopes to sell at a higher price.

The other thing that works against you (other than the economy in general) is that someone can now buy an 80 series for your asking price. I'll admit that while I like the 6x series trucks in general (and your's is almost my "perfect" wagon) for the money I'd rather have an 80 series. To get your price you'll have to be patient and wait for the guy that wants nothing other than a 60/62 with a 5sp and is willing to pay for the "right" truck.

Good luck with the sale. That is a very nice truck.

If you lived out west it would likely be sold already. But here its maybe worth 5-6K tops. Ask me how I know.....

The wife drives a nice clean 62 with 16xxxx miles and I had it up for a year at 7500.....nothin. If she ever wants to sell it again, Im thinking ill throw it up for 5500 or 6000.

BTW I love the 5spd. Some day youll have to tell me what that takes.

Coach, great looking rig....l LOVE the idea of a 5spd!!
I would echo all comments above including the positive.
Do you have it in the classifieds here on Mud? If not, put it there.
Read my ad for my 62 and send a PM to a couple guys that found mine too late. You may have good luck with them.
Good Luck.....nice truck and even nicer when I saw it in person!!

Thanks for the input guys! I am still playing tug a war on selling or keeping. I will give it some thought over the next few days.

I do need some bigger tires for sure!

I will drop a link if I put on the main classifieds...

Thanks again!
