TrailCrew,
The club voted to become officially affiliated with Cal4wheel at the last meeting. The Vice President of the Southern District of Cal4wheel, Harry Baker, and Helen Baker have graciously agreed to attend our upcoming meeting this Tuesday, March 2 at our new location : The Sunland Sizzler restaurant in the same parking lot. They will welcome us aboard, explain the benefits of membership, and give lots of valuable information about Land Use issues. Harry has also agreed to bring the maps out to explain the current land use issues concerning the Diane Feinstein bill and others. These maps really will put the issue in perspective for you.
We would really love a good turnout for this meeting. The information you will receive is invaluable and you will better understand why being a member of Cal4wheel is a very worthwhile thing and money well spent. IF you know anybody else not affiliated with the club that is concerned with the future of our Public Lands, they are more than welcome to attend as well.
Don't forget the clean up run of our Adopt a Trail this Sunday.
