Makin' the doors fit?

Need your guys HELP? I have some early style doors (pre 1974, old style latch)and am wandering if there may be a door striker that will adapt the old to the new (mine is 1976). I want to make these doors into .5's I need to get the early style striker I do not have them or will I need to make something to work???:wrench::meh:

I posted up on what did you do thread but I'm still lookin' for a set of pre '74 door strikers (catches) on the cab side, if tghat makes sense. I will call Georg and see if he might have a set if you guys cant come through for your southern friend.....

I have the early style as well as the really early style. They do not work.


"HudyFab" it or look at the door latch striker that Metal Tech sells with their tube doors. Thier latches work great with a piece of 1/4" plate as a spacer.

Got them thanks, I am goin to hang them before paint and make something similar....
