ISI Bikes Australia Made 4 bike rack Extreme Duty 4x4x4-800/25
PRICE $800 - will NOT SHIP. I can ship at buyer's expense.

Imported it from Australia in 2021 and paid over $1000 USD for it. It has been gently used and is in great condition.

Very stable in all types of terrains, carries bikes with tire size 20" to 29" and doesn't reduce the departure angle!

Selling to move on the a 5 bike version.

From my order email:

The MultiFit pivot base for the vehicle tow bar has several tow bar pinhole positions to adjust the carrier's position relative to the tow bar assembly. It also uses stronger materials than the standard pivot base. This will deliver a degree of flexibility if you require additional clearance in the future.

Included the hitch stabilizer. It's great to keep everything rock-solid when travelling over corrugated roads and rough tracks and eliminate the carrier's uncontrolled movement. The whole assembly can then act as a tuned member and protect the bicycles - as we designed it to. With the carrier mounted rigidly, the bicycles remained stabilized and secured in the event of huge shock loads. I prefer to use this all the time over the standard tow bar pin. Don't rely in the anti-rattle bolt if it is fitted to your tow bar receiver. The carrier load and vibration can mushroom the tip of the bolt and loosen during a trip.

The new Carbon-Care frame support cradles are manufactured from solid steel rod to eliminate the high-frequency vibrations at the frame contact point whilst driving at speed over corrugated roads. We have also designed a new rubber profile with a very wide contact area, super flexy, very tough, and gentle. Just sensational on thin wall hydro-formed alloy and asymmetrical weave carbon fibre frames. These cradles are a level above our excellent double padded cradles.

We've also just begun shipping a new wheel support cradle design that boasts complete adjustability even though they are on a common horizontal tube. This is a first in the industry and fantastic for fine-tuning bikes' position relative to each other. See http://www.isi-carriers.com/4x4x4/wheel_vertical_clear.gif and http://www.isi-carriers.com/4x4x4/wheel-cradles-adjust_a.gif . Sensational if you need to sneak a bit of additional vertical clearance between two adjacent bikes too.

Included the licence plate holder

Warranty is lifetime, no questions asked. If something breaks, we replace it. That's easy. Given that fellow adventurers rely upon our products to stand up to the harshest conditions in the most remote parts of the planet, my feeling about the warranty is that it's worthless if something breaks out there. The challenging thing is to design and build a product that won't fail, and that's exactly what we do.

Bump!

I’ve been running the same rack and 10/10 recommend.

iSi cannot ship whole racked to the states currently due to their insurance. However they can ship parts. I just orders a few pins and weld on brack so I can use my rack on my Opus.

2-bike on my 70 and 4-bike on my 70.

Bump to the top!

Willing to ship on sellers expense.

No body wants my bike rack?

Your setup looks cool. Are you selling the pivot base (with the hitch stabilizer), or just the bike rack? If so, what kind of pivot base did you select? (I don't have a fifth tire in the back of my car, so don't need as much bumper clearance but definitely need off-ground clearance as my vehicle has very low clearance already.) And can the 4-bike version be converted to 2-bike version, if needed?

Yes - pivot base with hitch stabilizer is included in the price. The only way you can convert this to a 2 bike carrier is by cutting the shaft in half.

Here's my original invoice to show all the parts I bought.

Thank you for this info! Very helpful to see the invoice too. I’m not sure how I would go about cutting the bike rack in half; might need a local welder or fabricator for that. Will need to ask ISI if it’s safe to do so without compromising the integrity of the rack. Will get back to you once I know more, but for now, it’s looking like, buying a 2-bike rack might be better for my needs.

Just getting back to you that after having a highly disappointing and less than ideal customer care experience with ISI Bike Carriers team, I’ve just decided to just get a different bike rack. I will say that I also contacted their competitor, GripSport, who were super responsive. Just wanted to let you know since I’d promised I’d get back to you here. Hope you find a buyer for your rack soon!

Still very much available. All packed up in a box and ready to ship.

No I still have it
