I have a Mad Dog 16xdvd9-ext burner that butns Double Layer 4x.
It came out before the DVD were on the market.
I just now got some Memorex DVD+R disks and tried to burn a DVD of My Document and it failed.
I tried twice and got this:
1st try; Illegal disk Mad Dog could not preform end of Disc-at-once.
Burn process failed at 2.4x
2nd try; no seek complete. MD could not prefprm start of Disc-at-once.
Burn process failed
I tried a DVD+rw disk and it worked fine.
Is there a problem with the Double layer disks, or is the problem with my Burner.
I have not up graded either Nero or MadDog.
When I burned the DVD+RW it turned out fine but I cant read it in the DVD reader in the Laptop. It said Windows could not read the disk.
I was told before I needed to finish the DVD or something like that.
How do I finish the disk so it can be read be all DVD plavers?
